August 23, 2012–Data analytics is slowly but surely breaking into the online marketing industry as more examples of success are made known and analytics providers are able to prove ROI. A recent Virtual Strategy Magazine article, “National Analytics SEO Management Platform Available from Emory Digital”, explains how Emory Digital is now partnering with National Analytics to offer clients online marketing analytics. The partnership is just one in a growing trend among analytics providers.

As the article explains of National Analytics offerings:

“The platform includes a daily website audit, competitive position and gap analysis, website analysis, keyword analysis, link analysis, conversion analysis, benchmark tracking and ROI tracking, and project management. The software tracks Key Performance Indicators that go far beyond search engine rankings. It measures brand engagement, pages bringing traffic, page view per visit, new visits, time on site, bounce rate, goal conversions, ecommerce transactions and revenue and lead generation.”

Another recent partnership was between Digital Reasoning and Connotate in June 2012 with its benefits to customers explained as,

“Connotate’s ability to monitor dynamic social media sources, automatically reformat large-scale data into simple formats and deliver them to Digital Reasoning’s machine-learning text analytics solution helps government agencies and businesses achieve a deeper understanding of how they are perceived and connected to the world around them.”

As online marketing and the use of unstructured data like social media presents continues to grow we expect to see more such partnerships forming.
